ONLY IF I COULD STOP YOU FROM GOING SO FAR

ONLY IF I COULD STOP YOU FROM GOING SO FAR

Only if I could stop you from going so far,
As you will leave I’ll sit and stare
At you - like a helpless child.
Lost in the dark, dumb and blind.
Wiping my smudged tear I’ll stand there.
Only if I could stop you from going so far.

My sight will now be blurred,
With mind losing its strength
To reason and to question.
But feelings yet unbarred , as ere.
My nerves will be numb then,
Only if I could stop you from going so far.

Like shackles stiffening my hands
Lump in my throat will make me suffocate
Torn as a leaf unclaimed lands;
Here I’ll stand- as long as you’ll go away dear;
As long as you will fade.
Only if I could stop you from going so far.

Broken dreams and broken all of that
Whatever beats inside again and again,
With the ticking of time, will keep these intact.
Do you not listen to my heart? Can’t you hear?
I know you have not forgotten- then why?
You’re going away and I can’t stop you from going so far.

NAMELESS LAND

NAMELESS LAND

Drive me, drive me away
To that nameless land
Where differences evaporate
And we walk, hand in hand

Make me fly; and fly me higher
As birds cross the tall barrier
Never feeling, that those were there
So do I living here, feel - If I to were?

Burn the castles, burn them like the fire does;
All the towers painted with lust,
And worms of hatred, crawling on the dust;
For the venom of pain can never touch us.

Wake me and wake me up to see,
When these were done, for you and me.
Then would I look at you and time will cease,
Tis’when words will not be , but eyes will speak.

SPEAKING TO HEART

SPEAKING TO HEART

Words are like my friends
Never they leave my mind.
Talking to mind, I often stop to find
How would have been I ?
If speaking to heart was’nt my art;
Mere structure of a broken stone,
Left alone – to die !
True it is, we are alone,
Never did I have someone
To call my own
Such winds have come and gone
None but my words
Stood there to console
When I was wild with the grumbling storm
Or battered by the bitter cold ,
Sheded tears as summer perspires,
All were their too tired to share,
But still said – “We care.”
Only these words of my heart had lent me an ear
Told me-“ Pour in what u feel,I am not any stranger,
You are my image and I am your mirror.”
